Things To Do On A Family Vacation In Vegas
On 04/07/2022 by ElisabethTaking a family vacation in Vegas soon? Despite what some people might say, there are plenty of attractions for everyone in your clan, so don’t let the naysayers steer you away from one of the more amazing destinations in the world. Here’s just a taste of what you can get up to here…
- Go crazy in its amusement parks
Heavy investments in family focused attractions over the decades have led to an explosion of fun amusements opening across the Las Vegas area. The biggest of these is the Adventuredome, which is located on the grounds of Circus Circus. The Adventuredome is the world’s largest indoor amusement park, with over five acres of rides, games and shows.
If you are in Vegas during the blistering summer, a trip out to the Wet n’ Wild is an excellent way to beat the heat. With season passes selling out in a flash when it opened in 2013, the locals love its many slides and attractions … and so will you.
- Try out some casino games
This is an obvious one, but we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention it. Las Vegas built its foundation on gambling, and while many will leave this town with no winnings (but plenty of good stories), some are lucky enough to hit a decent payday.
From poker to baccarat, there are numerous opportunities for you to go on a hot run … you never know!
One of you will have to stay behind at the hotel and look after the kids though, as most casinos restrict patrons that aren’t of age from their gaming areas. However, if you are looking to partake in the action that your partner is enjoying down on the casino floor, then hitting up sites like Slotsheaven is a great way to engage in this action virtually. A variety of entertaining slot games awaits you here, as do a number of other casino games, like roulette and blackjack and you can play in practice mode, for free.
- Tour Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum
Attached to the Venetian Resort on the Vegas Strip, the Vegas edition of Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum stands as one of the best in the chain. Over 100 wax figurines can be found here, all of which are frighteningly life like in their resemblance to the person they are pantomiming.
The figures include movie stars, comic book heroes, and music artists; the latter category saw Gwen Stefani work with sculptors to get an iconic pose, while Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas donated one of her dresses for her representation in this must-see attraction.
